As a mystery and puzzle enthusiast, I enjoy figuring out how to help my clients tell and share their stories. With the advent of social media and other alternative means of reaching audiences, there's never been a more exciting time to be in the business of communication.
My best PR moments are when my efforts and those of my clients hit it big. I also love being a “matchmaker” of sorts, coordinating and facilitating interviews between the media and our clients. I remember the excitement of securing an article by Walt Mossberg on the front page of the Personal Technology section of the Wall Street Journal to announce a client's new innovative program and drive participation.
I am currently providing strategic direction and counsel to Attachmate, Digonex, Mobile On and Tideworks Technology.
Before founding Communiqué with Jennifer in 2004, I was a program manager for RealNetworks. I managed competitive reviews, led feature definition and developed detailed specifications. Before joining RealNetworks, I was at Microsoft.
When not working, I love spending time with my husband and our two kids. I am an on-again, off-again runner and have completed several half-marathons and a triathlon. We're an active family and love to take full advantage of the Northwest - skiing in the winter and biking throughout the year.
I graduated from University of Puget Sound with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Business. I also completed a year of French studies at the Centre Universitaire d'Etudes Francaises (CUEF) of the University of Grenoble III.
